We started our big move a week after Derek's Graduation from Preschool. Can anyone believe that he is going to be 5 this year?! With this move Derek is unable to start Kindergarten. Florida has a Sept 1 cutoff date, so he misses it by 9 days. Another year of preschool for him. Although he enjoys it very much.
Derek walking down the aisle at his grad. Roxy just chillin in the car on our way down.

Along our stop towards Florida we stopped in SC to visit my brother and his family and my mom. Here is the pic of all the cousins. It is so hard to get all of them to look at the camera at once. Maybe next year we can get a better photo.

Once the moving truck made it to Florida, Derek got a special ride in the Big Rig. The driver took him to the end of the road and back to the house. He loved it!!! He even honked the horn. Derek was so in heaven that he talked about it for days. Funny thing is, at his preschool graduation he said he was going to be a truck driver when he grows up. Guess he is on the right path.

Mommy and Austin at the beach. It was beautiful.

Here is Derek being buried in the sand. It is what he asked for. Here is Austin mini golf. He just ran around all the holes and would throw the ball onto the green. He thought it was great. He also would pick up our balls and move them on us. It was still a great day.
Trevor and his boys on Father's day.

Fathers day was great! We took Trevor to the local beach and then mini golf. Although I will say that taking a 4 year old and 20 month old mini golf is not the greatest of things to do. They both enjoyed the beach. In fact the photo of derek being buried in the sand was his idea. He thought it was great.
We continue to unpack and prepare for Trevor's parents this week. They should be arriving late Friday night and will hopefully help us with the rest of unpacking and getting rid of the tacky wallpaper from the previous family.
Some sad news is that we had to give Roxy away. We will miss her greatly, but after we already moved in, we found out you can only have 2 pets and not 3/4. Sam ran away right before we moved so we were down to just 3, but once we got here we needed to get down to 2. It was a tough decision, but we have had Max and Princess for 9 years, so it was only fair that Roxy had to go. She was still a puppy and more likely to get adopted. We all miss her greatly and hope she finds a wonderful home.
So to leave this on a happy note. On today's date in 2003 at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, Trevor and I walked down the aisle and pledged ourselves to each other in front of our family and friends. Six years later we have two beautiful boys and our beloved Max and Princess. We have moved 4 times and have enjoyed each new adventure life brings us. We can't wait to see what is in store for us next. Happy Anniversary honey.
