This Halloween we went and trick or treated with friends that we knew back when we lived in Dover, Delaware. They always have such great parties, so myself and the kids went since they are only 4 hours away. Trevor missed out since he is up in DC doing some training.
This was Austin's first Halloween where he understood the whole go to the door and ring the doorbell and get candy. He was so cute. He would ride in the wagon to the next house. Jump out, run up to the house and yell trick or treat. Then he would come back to the wagon get in and say trick or treat while pointing at the next house. I guess that was his way of saying, get to the next house mom. more candy. He even used his charm to convince those at the house to give him extra.
Derek loved trying to scare Austin. He has this pair of purple teeth and anytime he put them in his mouth Austin would start crying. Poor baby. Derek thought it was great. He also loved that he made out with lots of candy. He also helped make sure Austin received some since he was always the last one to the door.
Overall it was a great Halloween. Great Halloween party after the kids were done trick or treating.
