So it has been about a month and so much has been going on. First of all today is Easter. We will be headed to Church in a few hours to celebrate our Lord who has Risen after death. The boys are excited especially Derek. He loves Children's Church. The Easter Bunny did make his debut this morning as well, but of course Mommy didn't put too much into it. A few pieces of candy and one toy each. We will finish dying our eggs today and then hide them after church for our own little hunt.
Lets see, in the past month we have been trying to prepare for our move. Right now our house is in total chaos as I have piles of stuff everywhere. Trying to do this with three kids by myself is insane. Nothing stays where I need it. But in one week the packers will be here and our stuff will be on a Truck. Then 2 weeks after that we will be headed back to our old house. Kinda exciting since Trevor is up there already doing some remodels. He is finally turning our unfinished part of the basement into another bedroom so now we will have 5 bedrooms. Just in time for my niece and nephew to come stay for the summer. That will be exciting as well.
So baby girl Peyton is smiling and sleeping a good 7 to 9 hours each night. She keeps growing and at her two month appointment was 9 lbs 8 ozs. She is way too cute and the boys cannot get enough of her. Derek loves to help as much as possible and has even on occasion changed diapers cause he wanted too. He is only 6 and such a big help. Of course sometimes when I really need his help he is more interested in something else like TV or playing but hey I can't complain. He does help. Austin wants to carry her around like big brother Derek, but of course since he is only 3, I am not comfortable with that. Especially since he is still a little rough with her.
Derek has been playing baseball and keeps getting better and better. This past week he managed to hit the coach with the ball when he batted. He was quite proud of that. He hits more off the coach than the tee. Now if I can only get him to stop chewing on his glove and paying more attention to plays.
Austin is our hyper/goofy kid and has reduced his naps to about one or two a week. Its makes for some trying days, but it shows how much he is growing. He always has so much energy and loves to be outside. He wants to help with Peyton and then wants to play sports like Derek. Once we move back North, we are putting him in as much stuff as possible. He is at that age, that I don't want him to feel left out, not that he does. He does very well finding something to do.
